OWLOON ME UP

Guys, in the last few weeks I have mentioned a very special and secret project which was definitely one of my favorite´s this year. Now I want to fulfill a part of my promises and present you exclusively one of my Dirndl outfits this year. It is a wonderful feeling to wear this amazing Dirndl from OWLOON. 

The story of this label is very interesting: the inspiration for OWLOON came from a bracelet with a beautiful owl that found his way from Australia to the founder and designer in Germany. Fascinated by the perfection and beauty of this animal the designer decided that the owl should be the symbol of the collection. The word OWLOON contains the English word for OWL and LOON for a diving bird. Both animals are characterized by their quality and beauty of their feathers: they offer protection, camouflage, but also have a wonderful garment. The German designer Caroline Elleke put a lot passion and hard work into this wonderful dress. All pieces of OWLOON are 100% handmade in Bavaria.

It is very pleasant to wear the Dirndl, because this mid-length encloses the calves, the skirt falls loosely around the hips and makes a slim silhouette at the same time. The material is reminiscent of a typical Chanel tweed pattern that is comfortable elegance, timeless chic and everlasting style. In my view this Dirndl design is classic and modern at once. A silver Owl pendant is the special highlight of this awesome Dirndl.

All in all I can highly recommend them to you – especially for your visit of the annual Okotberfest in Munich – we just call it Wiesn ;) I don´t want to reveal to much, but I have prepared a second OWLOON Dirndl outfit for you, which is absolutely different to this one – be excited!
